Olly and Caesar
Olly and Caesar are two bonded German Shepherd dogs. Sadly their previous owner failed to socialise them with other dogs, so they just love one another. They have lacked guidance and have not experienced proper boundaries. When their owner became ill with dementia they ceased to receive any exercise or stimulation and just got on with life together in their own little bubble.
The boys are housetrained and affectionate and have never shown any signs of aggression.
Olly and Caesar desperately need a new start in life. Ideally with someone experienced with the breed, who has the knowledge and resources to gradually offer them some gentle guidance and enough secure outside space to exercise them safely and provide some mental stimulation.
Olly
Olly is a 7 year old silver sable. Fully vaccinated. He has had lifelong medical issues in the way of allergies which are currently being managed on Cytopoint injections. He is currently on hypoallergenic food which appears to work.
He is dog reactive and doesn’t like other dogs apart from Caesar, he can be difficult to walk and will bark at dogs. He also does not like cats. He has never lived with kids. He is a really lovely and gentle boy in the house, but does become very excited out and in the garden. He is best kept on the lead unless in a secure area. He loves to play frisbee. He travels fine and loves being in the car.
Caesar
5 year old Black and Tan male. He is quite lean and lanky for the breed. He cann be boisterous and jumps up when excited, is dog reactive like Olly and wouldn’t be able to live with cats or any other small animal. Would really benefit from some training, regular exercise and stimulation. He is also difficult to walk and barks at other dogs. Otherwise he is a really lovely boy, very loyal and trainable and would do anything for you. Never lived with kids or cats.
The boys are bonded and have never been apart for more than a few hours for vet visits etc. Both were owned by the same person since 8 weeks old. They are fine to be left for a few hours, they are housetrained.
